What can you expect during an evening with SOULID!? How about sound and light? Can we request songs?
SOULID! is a band that focuses on providing an evening-filling program. This means that we provide an evening-filling program of 2 sets of one hour or 3 sets of 45 minutes.
The band

The evening
With two sets of an hour or three sets of music of 45 minutes we build up every party to an unforgettable evening!
Between the sets the party doesn't stop. We play a standard music list, which can also be provided by you, a Spotify list for example. It is also possible to use microphones for speeches.

The music, setlist and song requests
We make a setlist that fits perfectly with the evening. In addition, we feel on the evening itself what
fits best with the atmosphere and the energy at the party.
Most of our repertoire is on the website!
We have an extensive repertoire but it may be that you really want to hear a special song. That is possible, let us know what you like and we will check if we are able to play it!

Technical - Sound, Light and Stage
We work together with a sound company that brings a sound system fitting to the location
and number of guests. They also bring 'static' light to make the stage look good.
For parties with more than 150 guests, it is better that we bring a big light set.
If you already have sound engineers (for festivals or events for example), we can also work with them. Our technical rider can be found on our website (contact page)
We need a space of at least 4 deep by 5 wide meters. If there is no stage available at the location, we can also play without a stage.
If there is a sound limit at the location, we discuss the possibilities in advance. Our sound level is around 98~100dBa.

Schedule
The sound engineers arrive three to four hours before the show. The band arrives an hour later to set up.
We do a soundcheck an hour before the start of the program.
In total we are on location for a maximum of 8 hours.
If that is not enough (because we have to set up in the afternoon for example)
we charge 'waiting money' (25 euros / hour / band member) for that.
If we are present before seven o'clock in the evening, we ask you to provide a (simple) crew meal. If that is not possible, we will discuss that in advance.

Financial
We are a foundation (Stichting SOULID!, KVK 61167487) and send you an invoice after the event.
So you don't have to do difficult with artist statements and the like.
We make a contract with each other in advance stating what we expect from each other so that there are no misunderstandings, to make sure that it will be a great party!
